# ElíasFabrey Channels 2000s Reggaeton Roots on Empowering Single ‘SOLTERA’
Rising Spanish urban artist ElíasFabrey is tapping into the golden era of classic perreo with his single “SOLTERA,” blending early-2000s reggaeton nostalgia with polished, contemporary production. Teaming up with producer Yiwan, a notable figure in Spain’s urban music movement, the 22-year-old artist bridges generational sounds with an infectious, dancefloor-ready bounce.
## Old-School Perreo Meets Modern Independence
Rather than framing singlehood through heartbreak or lament, “SOLTERA” flips the script into an anthem focused on personal freedom and self-worth. ElíasFabrey approaches the track as a reminder that being unattached is an opportunity to prioritize oneself, leave toxic baggage behind, and enjoy life without external expectations.
“With ‘SOLTERA,’ I wanted to make a track about freedom, loving yourself, and knowing that you don’t need anyone by your side to be happy,” ElíasFabrey explained in comments highlighted by Spanish outlet Los 20 Radio. “It has a super fresh, danceable rhythm because the goal is to view a breakup not as drama, but as a fresh start to live life to the fullest.”
## Creative Visuals and Growing Catalog
To complement the release, the official music video was directed by Marina Mesa Rojas, a close creative collaborator whose personal connection to the singer injects natural charisma and authenticity into the visuals.
Hailing from Torreperogil in the province of Jaén, Spain, Elías Gallego—professionally known as ElíasFabrey—continues to expand his presence within the Latin urban market. Backed by previous releases such as “TOXICOPATA” and his collaborative summer single “DE MAKINEO” with Salva Blanco, the rising performer demonstrates a steady commitment to blending traditional reggaeton percussion with relatable, modern themes.
